About Nothing But Nature
​Nothing but Nature was established in 1994. We started growing garlic just for us, then we just gradually grew more and more things we wanted to eat. Once we started having overflow the only logical step was to sell to the public. We’ve always used organic practices because it’s the right thing to do for the earth, our health, and the health of our animals. We became certified by OEFFA in 1998. We believe it all starts with great soil, so we go to great lengths to make sure our produce comes from happy soil. 
As the farm got bigger the work load grew, and a friend told us about a wonderful program for finding workers called WWOOF (World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms). We began hosting WWOOFers in 2002, and have had them off and on ever since. Being WWOOF hosts gives us the opportunity to educate people about organic farming, providing them with hands-on farm experience. 
​We grow a wide variety of high-quality greens, root vegetables, and herbs. Our farm works with other local farmers to provide our customers with lots of other great local products including raw honey, melons, cheeses, squash, pumpkins, apples, and pears. We also started buying Celtic sea salt in bulk to sell because of its many health (and tasty!) benefits. Our steers, goats, and pigs are raised right here on our pasture. All of our products are available at Defiance Farmer's Market and Health Foods by Claudia in Toledo. We strive to bring health to the table in our community.
